Air Traffic Control Sector is a defined volume of Airspace designed carefully with many factors in mind, to ensure Safety and Efficiency of Air Traffic flows and to manage the ATC load. Capacity is a majorfactor of determining the lateral and vertical delineation of sectors. In this session of MOKFANS, the importance and benifits of defining ATC Sector Capacity will be explored, as well as a live demonstration on how to calculate Sector capacity and how the capacity limits are set.
